Eclipse season is here and that means a lot of different things to a lot of different people. To ancient astrologers it simply meant that the interplay between light and dark was heightened. In modern terms I’d call this holding the tension of the opposites.

Aries
Polarities can often feel painful, especially when they involve the dyad of the 6th and the 12th houses. But as the phrase from Ecclesiastes states, “There is no new thing under the sun.” You may find comfort in knowing that the constant fluctuations of the material world are completely natural.
Taurus
The sign of Taurus is ruled by Venus and is the exaltation of the Moon. This means that if you are a Taurus rising you certainly have a lot of love to give but every sign has a dark side. For Taurus that is the wild and hungry Minotaur dwelling under the castle. Finding balance between desire and greed is the work of a lifetime but this month it may need a little extra tending to.
Gemini
The good thing about a Mercury ruled sign like Gemini is that it is very comfortable with the fluid fluctuations between dark and light. The difficult thing is that often these can play out in the intellect. If you are feeling the strain of eclipse season this year then look for ways to get out of your head and into your heart!
Cancer
Often in times of challenge humans are faced with the perennial choice: decide we have been abandoned and strike out on our own OR double down on our beliefs and charge forward knowing that the future is not entirely in our hands. Countless stories throughout history have shown us that whatever we choose in the moment is of less importance then how the story ends. The end of the story is exactly as it should be.
Leo
The word eclipse comes from the Greek word ekleipsis, meaning "an abandonment”. There are two types of abandonment: mental and physical. This season your 2nd and 8th house axis is activated via eclipses. The significations of these two houses cover the topics of money and resources. I am assuming you don’t want to abandon your actual money but this time around you may be asked to abandon your beliefs around money.
Virgo
This year eclipse season is personal for you Virgo. These eclipses occur across your 1st and 7th house axis, activating the dyad of self verse other. The interplay between who you are and who others think you are is heightened. My advice for you comes not from myself but from the Buddha, “Seek the middle way”.
Libra
Moksha is the idea of liberation from the cycles of life and death but also liberation from the things that bind us to our unconscious ways of livings. It is often these unconscious beliefs that hold us back in life, spinning our wheels in the mud. Like the releasing of a cork held underwater, it is sometimes just the simple task of surrender that allows that which is unconscious to surface.
Scorpio
We often need the support of a group or friend to help us realize our dreams. This is probably why these two topics occupy the same house in ancient astrology. Sometimes to receive support we have to abandon our vision of what we thought life would look like and instead accept the gifts that come into our lives in whatever creative ways the universe sees fit to deliver them.
Sagittarius
Being thrust into the public world when you are not ready for it can be a real challenge. This is probably the reason why most famous people eventually seem to lose their mind. The lesson to be learned here is no matter how significant or seemingly insignificant your foyer into the world is, you are still in charge of you. No one is the boss of you. Knowing that should give you all the support you need.
Capricorn
Life gets overwhelming at times and while that can feel hard it is perfectly natural. I promise you if it was all gumdrops and lollipops you’d soon be trying to find a way to interject some drama just to keep it interesting. It is just human nature to seek challenges, learn from them, and expand into the next version of ourselves. Do your best to enjoy the expansion and life’s challenges will start to energize you rather than drain you.
Aquarius
Humans are social creatures. We are all entangled in some way with other humans. These entanglements come and go. If you mange to keep your center and not get swept away by them you will posses a skill that spiritual teachers around the world have spent thousands of years trying to teach humanity.
Pisces
Pisces often wrestle with the duality of life. The desire to escape verses the need for deep embodied experience. What is forgotten about the symbolism of the fish swimming in opposite directions is the cord that ties them together. It is often the connections in life that help a Pisces from getting lost in the constant struggle of duality ever present on the material plane.
