March 2025

Read for your rising sign.

As we welcome in spring this year we also welcome in a tidal wave of astrological events in the zodiac sign of Aries. The sign of Aries is often associated with individuation. This is not because it is the first sign of the zodiac but because it is the masculine (yang) fire temple of Mars and the Sun. Two planets, who in their own right, symbolize a path of individuation. This month’s horoscopes will explore the whole sign placement of Aries in your birth chart in relation to your rising sign.

Aries

If you are an Aries rising then the word ‘individuation’ might be a strange concept to you, probably because you just live it. A fish doesn’t know it’s in the water. There is a lot going on in the sign of Aries this year, which means there will most likely be a lot going on with you! Nothing a Mars ruled Aries can’t handle though.

Taurus

‘Shadow work’ has become a cliche term in this modern age of pop psychology but that doesn’t mean there isn’t still validity in looking behind that metaphorical curtain. Give it a try, it might just lead towards a greater sense of who you are and what you are here to do.

Gemini

With a tilde wave of astrological activity happening in your 11th house of ‘Good Spirit’ there are sure to be some shake ups around 11th house topics like groups and friends but also your hopes and dreams. Things that get better over time often do take a lot of time. So be patient and enjoy the unfolding.

Cancer

In western society we are all trying to stand out and be recognized for our own unique “specialness”. As a Cancer rising it may be a fun experiment to try and be recognized not for who you are but for what you have done. That may be as simple as feeling the joy of helping to nurture someone else. Give it a try this Spring and see how it makes you feel.

Leo

It is interesting that so much individual spiritual experience ultimately leads back to a merging with oneness. So many accounts describe how after years of dedicated practice one realizes they are one with the flower outside their window or the toilet in the bathroom. If you are cringing while reading this then you must be reading the right horoscope. Don’t worry Leo, you can’t fool us, just be yourself and the rest will fall into place.

Virgo

The sign of Virgo in ancient astrology has a lot to do with the purification process that happens right before the descent into the underworld. Virgo is the sign before the autumnal equinox when darkness takes over and the earth, at least in the northern hemisphere, plunges into the dark dominant half of the year. If you can focus on purification, either literal or physical, this spring will be sure to bring great change for the better. But please do it for yourself and not for the esteem of others.

Libra

The 7th house in ancient astrology is the setting place. It is the house where planets descend into darkness only to be reborn again the next morning in the east. Our closest relationships should have a feeling of safety and knowing that as we descend into our home at the end of a long day we are safe and will be renewed the next day. Now is a great time to reevaluate your closest relationship and make sure it fits this criteria.

Scorpio

The same planet that rules the sign of Scorpio, Mars, rules the sign of Aries. However, Aries is the masculine fire temple of Mars and the Sun. Scorpio is the feminine water temple of Mars. What does all this astro jargon mean? Basically, unlike Aries, Scorpio is not as comfortable in the spotlight. Individuation for a Scorpio is a more private and secretive process. Give yourself the time and space to be yourself and the power of Mars will shine through in its own individual way.

Sagittarius

The nice thing about the emphasis on Aries in your chart this month is that it’s all happening in the 5th house of creativity, pleasure, and children. Where is individuation more important than in the creative arts? How can you ever truly find pleasure if you are not a little bit selfish? And, one must only spend a few moments with a child to realize they are solely focused on themselves! Lean into this burst of creative energy and you are sure to be following your dharma.

Capricorn

The strange configuration of the sign of Capricorn is one that we may never quite wrap our heads around. Any creature that is half goat and half fish is surely designed to conquer just about anything that is thrown its way. But just because this is true doesn’t mean you should always take that as a challenge. It often takes the realization that you are a lot of things to a lot of people to realize the only person you forgot was yourself.

Aquarius

The sign of Aquarius is often associated with the myth of Ganymede, a young boy abducted by the Gods to serve as cupbearer. It’s no wonder why the sign of Aquarius is often associated with aliens and space travel or why many Aquarian’s feel like an alien themselves. If there is one sign that is firmly pointed in the direction of individuation from the pack at birth it is Aquarius. Just don’t make it a competition.

Pisces

The only thing that separates you from the next person when it comes to money is who has more of it. Nice in theory but a dangerous game to get sucked into. Just remember a hero is not judged by the size of his muscles but by the size of his heart.
